Aroma Therapy
Aromatherapy is a branch of herbal medicine that uses essential oils with medicinal properties to address various physical and emotional ills. Essential oils are the volatile aromatic compounds, or “essence,” found in plants. You are already familiar with many essential oils as they are the aromas of the herbs and spices you use in your kitchen as well as many other common plants and flowers.
Many aromatic compounds have healing or therapeutic properties, inlcuding the ones you have in your spice cabinet. When the oils are distilled from their plant sources, the healing properties become very highly concentrated so only a small amount of oil is needed to achieve a result. Essential oils stimulate and support your body’s processes, can function to detoxify the body, and have been shown to increase oxygen absorption of the cells by 26%. Typically, oils are diffused in the air for inhalation, applied to the skin, or taken internally.
The oils used as Kinesic Therapies are 100% pure and from certified organic or certified wildcrafted plants. Even the soil is tested to make sure that the plants are growing soil with a healthy mineral and microbe profile. If you are interested in purchasing any of these oils for use at home, you can find them at www.myforevergreen.org/kinesictherapies
